Quality assurance sits high on the SMK agenda to ensure that every department is aware of the requirements of our customers. SMK has invested vast amounts in precision measuring equipment which includes programmable CMM, optical comparator, extrusion plastometer, and colour spectrophotometer to maintain accurate tolerance.

Our stringent QC Department is responsible for checking every stage of the production process to comply with the specifications and standards laid down by the customers. We strongly believe that defect free products are an essential contribution to customer satisfaction and our mission is to add value to our clients’ production chain in the most cost effective manner.

With sound quality policy and consistent standards at every stage of operation, Lloyd’s Instruments Limited awarded SMK, ISO9002 in 1996 and ISO9001 in 2003. Even before any new material is introduced to the production floor, it is the company’s policy to have a lab report analysed by Lloyd’s or SGS.
